A 17-year-old youth was critically injured on Tuesday after being stabbed with a knife in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Reports said that an altercation took an ugly turn when a youth (name withheld) stabbed another boy identified as Amir Rashid Wani, a resident of Kawoosa area of the district.

Wani as per the reports was immediately taken to nearby hospital, where from he was referred to SKIMS Soura, in a critical condition.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case in this regard and have taken up the further investigations.
