The minimum temperatures across Kashmir increased on Thursday providing relief to the people from the cold wave conditions, officials said.
A MeT official said that Srinagar recorded a low of minus 1.0°C against minus 1.2°C on the previous night. It was minus 2.0°C below the normal for this time of the year, he said.

The Meteorological Office has said the weather is largely expected to remain dry in the plains of Jammu and Kashmir till February 21.
