Kashmir was cut off from rest of the world on Tuesday as the arterial Jammu-Srinagar national highway, Mughal road, and other link roads were closed due to snowfall across the valley.
“The Srinagar-Muzaffarabad Highway is also closed due to accumulation of snow at many places in north Kashmir,” an official of the traffic department said.

He said snow clearance operations were in full swing and efforts were on to restore movement of vehicles along the road.
