Eyewitnesses said that the shops in parts of Srinagar city are shut to mourn the killing of the trio who according to the families were killed in “fake encounter”.
In these areas, the eyewitnesses said, shops have not been opened this morning but the vehicle movement can be seen functioning normally.

Pertinently, on December 30, 2020, families of three persons claimed to be “militants killed in an encounter” with a joint team of police, CRPF and Army at Hokersar in city outskirts of Srinagar staged a protest, asserting that they were innocents.
Meanwhile, there is no call for shut down by any group or organization.
