Three civilians were injured on Monday as Pakistan violated ceasefire by resorting to unprovoked mortar shelling on forward posts and villages along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district.
Officials said Pakistan resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation by firing with small arms and intense shelling with mortars in Mankote sector of Poonch this evening.

The Indian Army retaliated in a befitting manner and the cross-border shelling between the two sides was going on, the official said. Adding three family members were wounded in the shelling.
