Three militants killed in Kulgam gunfight

Srinagar: Three militants have been killed in an gunfight between militants and government forces in Nagnard village of Damhal Hanjipora in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Friday morning.

The gunfight was triggered after a joint team of government forces including Police, Army’s 09- RR and CRPF launched a Cordon-anoperation-Operation on specific information about the presence of militants in the area.

An official said that three militants have bern killed and three Army men were also wounded in the encounter.

The trio army men have been shifted to 92 Base hospital for treatment, he said.
