An Assistant Sub Inspector of Traffic police was killed on Thursday after being hit by a Truck in Qazigund area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
A Police official said that unknown truck hit one traffic police Man at Bonigam crossing, resulting on spot death of the cop.

The official identified him as Mohd Shafi Bhat son of Mohd Ramzan Bhat resident of Shangus, Anantnag, saying that police has taken cognizance of the incident and investigation has been taken up.
