Two residential houses were gutted in a massive blaze that broke out in the Nawa Kadal area of Srinagar.
One of the local residents in the area told Good Morning Kashmir that a fire broke out in a residential house at Malbab Sahab area of Nawa Kadal this morning, leaving as many as two families devastated.

As soon as the news of the fire incident spread, locals of the area, police, and the servicemen from the Fire and Emergency Department rushed to the spot to douse the flames, said the resident.
Officials said that the efforts are on to douse the flames, adding that the cause of the fire is being ascertained.
