An SSB jawan was injured in a grenade attack by militants in Watergam – Rafiabad area of Baramulla district on Thursday.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the militants hurled the grenade on the joint deployment of government forces in Watergam area of Rafibad area.
In the incident, an SSB trooper sustained injuries.

The injured personnel was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, he added.
Meanwhile, government forces have cordoned off the area to nab the attackers.
