e are past 128389 now. Srinagar leads with the list with most number of covid-19 positive cases. While Pulwama still is safe with hardly few positive cases but almost everywhere else the number of covid-19 cases are rising steeply.
While it must be bore in mind that Punjab has already extended the lockdown. In a few days we will see that across India few more states and union territories will extend the lockdown. Most likely in Kashmir also the lockdown is going to get extended.
One disappointing aspect of the scenario is that the journalists are not asking enough questions from the higherups. They are just doing the proverbial ‘copy-paste’ of the official narrative. Journalists are not even able to meet and seek opinion of professionals and subject-matter experts across the spectrum.

However, the harsh reality is that we are not out of woods yet and it seems we will not be anytime in the immediate future. The administration is quite active on the ground, even the Directorate of Indian Systems of Medicine, J&K is distributing AYUSH Medicines having immunity boosting, immuno-modulator, anti-oxidant, rejuvenator, anti-stress, metabolism regulator, anti-allergic, anti-pyretic, anti-tussives, bronchodilator, etc properties.
If residents do not take this ongoing pandemic seriously, more measures could be implemented to lower the numbers. These are very unfortunate instances, and we hope everyone identified as infected makes it through this ordeal safely. COVID-19 can seriously impair people even if they survive, so it’s crucial that we all remain cautious.
The rules about wearing masks, maintaining social distance, frequently washing hands and disinfecting surfaces regularly are just as vital now as they were when the pandemic began. We don’t want the government to reimpose restrictions, so we must find ways to control this crisis ourselves.
